Until the Edge of the World

The five-year-old girl Flo cannot understand the condition her father is in. In order to convince Flo that her father is not gone her mother Julia tries to explain his condition. “He is with us but also far away at the same time”. But what exactly does “far away” mean? Flo’s never ending questions drive Julia to create a story about her father’s whereabouts as a last resort.

There is this picture. Framed at the end of the Hospitalcorridoor. „Our Moon“. Flo likes the idea of it. It fits into her childlike spirit – her father on the moon. Only for a certain period of time. From now on Flo starts to create her own world.
