Brief synopsis
The focus is on the single midwife student Laura, whose career choice is put to the test in a chaotic, emotional and entertaining way between raising her child and finishing her exams.
Our series is intended to offer young professionals extraordinary insights into the everyday life and studies of midwives. It conveys the special significance of midwifery for all of us - especially expectant and young mothers in this important phase of their life.
We want to show authentic births as they are not filmed by Hollywood and Co. What is really important in real births is unfortunately not shown in television or cinema: the woman's power of birth, births in a standing, squatting, or sitting position or in the birthing tub - midwives as caring companions, the naturalness of birth and good teamwork.
