    Brief synopsis

    When the Berlin primary school teacher Khalil is shown war images of his kurdish hometown Cizre, he believes to recognize his sister whom he thought dead in the videos. His stable life is turned upside down: he tries to save his sister by every method available and to inform the public about the brutal war. His life in Berlin hanging in the balance, he has to ask himself where he belongs.
