The BaNa tribe is one of 54 different minority tribes in Vietnam. They are domiciled in the tropical Central Highlands. Surrounded by a rising economy they are trying to preserve their culture, language and the customs of their ancestors.
But with all the influences of the modern world it is hard to stay away of all the motorbikes, mobile phones and money. Many things for which the BaNa don’t even have the words in their own language.
This documentary offers an insight on the BaNa, picturing their everyday life, before this fascinating indigenous culture might just disappear in the modern society.
