    About Denis Pavlovic

    Denis Pavlovic is a German/Croatian director and producer from Hamburg, holding a diploma in film directing from the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, a permanent member of AG DOK and a scholarship holder of the Robert Bosch Foundation.

    Over the years he has produced and directed over 15 documentaries and feature films in all lengths, which were shown at film festivals worldwide.
    With his projects he was additionally invited to several talent labs and pitching events (among others Dok.Fest Munich, CHANGE Co-Production Workshop by eave producers/IMS/CPH:DOX, Internationales Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg, Max Ophüls Preis, Dok.Art Munich).

    Together with editor Julia Meyer-Pavlovic he founded the Hamburg based film production company "Glass Frog Films'', which specializes in documentaries, fiction films and commercials.

    In 2023 Pavlovic was a jury member for the Dok.Fest Munich Student Award.

    Pavlovic is a participant of the Documentary Campus Masterschool in it's 2024 edition.

    2018 – Writer and Director the documentary film "Stadtlücken” (City gaps), as part of the cultural program for the 300 year anniversary, of the city of Ludwigsburg, Germany.

    2017 – Writer and Director of the documentary film "Schranke" (Barriers), which was nominated for the short film competition "Die Vermächtnisstudie". "Schranke” was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Germany and the magazine "DIE ZEIT”. Produced by the German Filmacademy and co-produced with the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
