Janine Theisen

Growing up in Berlin Treptow, I ended up doing apparatus gymnastics at the age of 4, because I had a crazy energy that was hard to contain. In 1988, we went to the Friedrich-Stadt-Palast for the children's revue, as we did every year, and when I was still dreaming of dancing on the boards that mean the world weeks later, my parents finally signed me up there. From then on, I spent all my free time dancing and doing gymnastics and so, during a long trip through Mexico, I decided without further ado to become neither a pilot nor a surgeon, but an actress. My body sense and confidence eventually paved the way for me to enter the stunt industry, where I have been working since 2011. Thanks to a keen interest in human psychology and the unity between heart, body and mind, I almost always manage to grow from all kinds of challenges that acting or stunts bring.
