Sebastian Achilles

I studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin from 2001 to 2005. My first engagements took me to the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, the Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Schauspiel Zittau. I played the title characters in DON KARLOS and ROMEO & JULIET, among others.

Afterwards I became a permanent ensemble member at the GRIPS Theatre Berlin. There I performed for over 6 years as 'Bambi' in the world-famous premiere production of LINE 1. The production ABOUT BOYS with me in the leading role 'Victor Cluscrescu' won the theatre Oscar "DER FAUST" in 2013.

Between 2011 and 2014 I was on stage at the Nibelungen-Festspiele-Worms directed by the film and TV director Dieter Wedel.

Until summer 2016 I played one of the three male leads, rock rebel 'Elmar' in Udo Lindenbergs musical HINTERM HORIZONT for 4 years in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz as First Cast.
In 2015 we won the B.Z. Kulturpreis for outstanding artistic achievement with HINTERM HORIZONT as an ensemble.

I did my first international tour in 2018 - 2019 for the British television station BBC in the arena spectacle DINOSAURIER - IM REICH DER GIGANTEN (engl.: WALKING WITH DINOSAURS) in the leading role of the palaeontologist 'Huxley'. After rehearsals at the O2 Arena London and Newcastle, the tour took me to the AccorHotels Arena Paris, Mercedes Benz Arena Berlin or the Olympiahalle Munich.

In addition to my theatre engagements, I am continuously involved in various film, television and commercial productions.
For example, I can be seen in the NETFLIX series DOGS OF BERLIN as the continuous role 'Guido Mack' alongside Fahri Yardim and was part of the ensemble of the SKY science fiction series EIGHT DAYS, which started in spring 2019.

I also made a few trips to ZDF - Herzkino. In January 2019 I was seen as the lead in BERGDOKTOR with Hans Sigl and in early September 2019 as the male lead in INGA LINDSTRÖM alongside Stephanie Stumph.

From 2019 I have been part of the ensemble of the ARD production A HOUSE OF ANIMALS in a continuous leading role.
