Lieblingsfilm GmbH is a Munich-based film production company. It produces successful and high-quality cinema and TV films for the national and international market. In addition, the company has been developing and producing serial formats since 2018.
In the past 10 years, Lieblingsfilm has produced numerous films, including the adaptation of the "Gemstone Trilogy" and the children's films "Wintertochter" and Mountain Miracle ("Amelie Rennt") - both of which were awarded the German Film Prize. The first part of the successful series about Rico and Oskar was also awarded the German Film Prize. In March 2019, the German-English co-production The Keeper ("Trautmann") (awarded the Bavarian Film Prize) with David Kross, Freya Mavor and John Henshaw started in German cinemas. UK release is April 5, 2019. "Mein Lotta-Leben - Alles Bingo mit Flamingo", the first adaptation of the children's bestseller series, will be released in German cinemas on August 28, 2019. The broadcasting of the TV film "Ihr letzter Wille kann mich mal" with Heiner Lauterbach and Uwe Ochsenknecht, which Lieblingsfilm produced on behalf of ARD Degeto is also planned for autumn 2019.
Robert Marciniak, Philipp Budweg and Thomas Blieninger are the producers of the favourite film. Julia Rappold joined the team as a producer at the beginning of 2018. The directors Marcus H. Rosenmüller and Johannes Schmid belong to the circle of shareholders of Lieblingsfilm.
