Wuthering Heights

Based on the only novel of Emily Brontë, and set in the vast, windswept moors of North Yorkshire in 18th century England, Wuthering Heights is a passionate story of the desperate love between Catherine Earnshaw, the daughter of a wealthy family living in a manor of the same name, and Heathcliff, a wild foundling boy of unknown origins adopted by Catherine's father.

Wrongly believing that Catherine does not requite his love, Heathcliff leaves Wuthering Heights, and returns years later as a wealthy, polished man to exact a terrible revenge on the Earnshaws and their children for his misery.
