Brief synopsis
The three-part documentary by Dirk Laabs sheds light on global right-wing extremist terrorism. Young people radicalize each other in digital networks, propagate violence against minorities and threaten democratic institutions. Authorities consider this movement to be more dangerous than Islamist terrorism.
Many of the perpetrators follow in the footsteps of assassins such as Brenton Tarrant (Christchurch) and Anders Breivik (Utøya). A 1500-page manifesto by Breivik went viral and continues to influence right-wing extremist circles to this day.
A major raid in Germany in 2024 uncovered a planned coup by right-wing extremists. According to UN Secretary-General Guterres, this is one of the greatest threats to our democracy.
Former and active soldiers around the world are also networking and are considered potential assassins.
