Wolfram B Meyer

Raised bilingually as a theater child, at the age of 15 Wolfram signed his first professional theater contract for an acting role. He then proceeded to study the performing arts at Universität der Künste Berlin. After completing his studies he took private training in acting, singing & repertoire in New York, London and Zurich.

His extensive professional experience includes acting, singing and dancing in straight theater, musical-theater, opera, operetta, concert, social media, commercials, motion capture, TV and film.

Wolfram held permanent contracts as a soloist at the following theaters: Musik Theater Görlitz, Theater Bielefeld, Staatstheater Mainz, Theater Vorpommern (Stralsund / Greifswald), Anhaltisches Theater Dessau in Germany and Theater Basel, Switzerland.

Since 2001 he works as a freelancer. He has been Artist In Residence with the Nat Horne Theater New York, Capitol Opera Sacramento/ Davis - USA and Vancouver Opera Canada.

He has many years of tour experience in Germany and through Europe, Africa, Canada, USA, eg with Konzertdirektion Landgraf, Titisee-Neustadt; KammerOper Dresden; Platin Scala Wenden (Germany) and Artist Direction Stage St. Gallen (Switzerland).

His shooting experience includes Bollywood buster "Don 2 - The King is Back", short films (eg "Rotkäppchen Todschnäppchen", "Stille Gründe", "Kürbiskerne") and TV (eg "SAT1 - Akte").

Since 2003 Wolfram also works as a director and author, producing his own shows: "Amadeus & die Zauberflöte", "Sterne vor die Säue", "Die Marlene Tauber Story", "Ein Lied geht um die Welt" und "Die Csárdásfürsten, 3 Männer mit Herz".

Since 2011 he is also working as business coach & body language trainer and plays in dinner entertainment shows with the group Freistil-Theater, Freiburg in English and German.

In 2019 he got his first role (motion capture) in the latest narrative adventure episodic game series "Tell Me Why" by Dontnod Entertainment, the creators of "Life is Strange", Game Director Florent Guillaume.

In 2021 he played the role of Pluto in Offenbach's "Orpheus in the Underworld" at the Frankenfestspiele Röttingen and
2022 Sargento Garcia in "Zorro – the Musical". This year he will appear there in "Das Spukschloss im Spessart".
In 2023 he made his debut as Archdeacon Claude Frollo in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in the musical by Marko Formanek.

Currently he is starring as Markus Söder in "Bundes Puppen Kabarett – Wir verpulvern Millionen" and as Kalle (Gaz) in "Ladies Night - Ein Mädelsabend" at Kabarett Die Oderhähne, Frankfurt (Oder) based on the British comedy film "The Full Monty" by Stephen Sinclair and Anthony McCarten.
