Martin is 60. Adèle is 25. He is unhealthy, grumpy and shy. She is cheeky, brazen and provocative. He is looking for his son, she is looking for her father. The two missing persons were living together as a couple, and when Martin and Adèle call at their old address, the new occupant tells them they have moved abroad.
The pair investigate this troubling disappearance, which has been ignored by the police, and find out, at the risk of their own lives, that their relatives were in fact murdered. Together, they unravel the complicated relationship between Gabriel and Aurélien, get their own lives back on track and learn to live without them.
