Brief synopsis
"Trigger" tells of the life of a young woman who gets into a fight with her Russian teacher (Katerina Kantor) and is now in danger of failing her high school exams. Then her dark family history catches up with her: For her grandfather Bernhard (Malte Wunder) killed himself back then, when control over his life threatened to slip away. Are similar ideas awakening in her? And can her great-uncle Richard (Werner Wilkening) help her to dispel her fears and come to terms with the suicide?
