An amateur female sports club Volteo takes on the challenge to become a national team at vaulting. Its members don’t realize how much sacrifice goes with that decision.
A kid, a teenager and a woman — connected by unusual friendship decide to fight for the team, struggling with their own coming of age. Zosia (11) is naturally predisposed to vaulting,
she is yet too young to cope with the responsibility that goes with regular and exhaustive workout.
Vika (17), happy‑go‑lucky teenager for whom vaulting is just another hobby tries to split her time between training and dating.
For Ola (22), the ‘mother hen’ of the team who enters her adult womanhood, vaulting means life but the lack of natural abilities forces her to face more and more failures at sport which translates to frustrations in her personal life.
After a year of efforts Volteo still did not get into the national team. However, each of the characters has undergone a huge transformation.
Now they are more experienced and mature. This season, the chance of getting into the national representation seems to be within their reach. Unfortunately, one of the key players decides to leave the team in favour of pursuing her individual career.
The world of our three protagonists collapses.
