The couple AVA and SASCHA run the FLINT* pub in the Ruhrpott, Germany the STÖRENFRIDA. An idealistic project, which functions as a shelter for the community but also as a home for the couple.Suddenly Ava‘s father Gunter, a former coal miner who needs a place to stay for a few weeks, enters this closed world. Based on this tense triangular constellation, the film will show the inclusivity and exclusivity of shelters and critically examine supposedly female and male spaces.
