    Brief synopsis

    Herrmann Weber, a grumpy elderly man, tries to find a way of painlessly ending his life, after receiving a cancer diagnosis. Not being able to do it himself, he attempts to form a relationship with the cheerful Hanne, building a pretty unstable construct of lies about himself. All her former husbands mysteriously lost their lives shortly after the wedding and he hopes for the same fate.
    Through her he learns to value and enjoy life and the company of people again - and suddenly he isn't that much in a hurry to die anymore.
