Sibylle Maria Dordel

As a latecomer, 2018 gold medalist in the Modern Quadruple Event (swimming, fencing, shooting, running (laser run)). Sibylle studied Roman language and literature as well as philosophy at the university of Cologne and received her theatrical education at the Théâtre Roy Hart in Malérargues, France. She is the author of numerous plays which mainly focus on the life of historic female artists and their struggle in society and with their own identity. Sibylle has been performing the roles of these women herself (both in German and French) while also taking on smaller roles in a number of feature films. The actress and writer is particularly interested the portrayal of psychologically complex characters through dramatic or even comical-bizarre means. She enjoys improvising and experimenting with different acting, movement or speech techniques. Sibylle is German-French bilingual, speaks advanced English and has basic knowledge of Spanish and Norwegian.
