The latest ZDF fairytale pearl DORNRÖSCHEN und der Fluch der siebten Fee (AT) is currently being filmed in the Czech Republic. Directed by Ngo the Chau, screenplay by Dana Bechtle Bechtinger.

Fateful events lead a dreamy prince to the enchanted kingdom of thorns, where he tries to free the sleeping princess and break a dark curse with the help of a stubborn fairy.

The fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty and the Curse of the Seventh Fairy" (AT) is a production of PROVOBIS FILM GmbH, producer Jens Christian Susa in co-production with MIA Film on behalf of ZDF and is supported by the Czech State Fund for Cinematography. Jörg von den Steinen and Catharina Martin are responsible for editing at ZDF. ZDF Studios is responsible for world sales. The fairy tale will be broadcast at Christmas 2024.

In competition & US premiere for Rapunzel and the Return of the Falcons (directed by Christoph Heimer) at the Atlanta Children's Film Festival. The festival takes place from June 7 to 23, 2024 in #Atlanta, USA.

The title song for "Rapunzel and the Return of the Falcons" is called "Casually Cruel" and was written by pop singer Leslie Clio

The power of utopia, the dream of flying into space, of exploring alien planets - this has always occupied filmmakers. WDR and Provobis Film are now taking up this fascination - together they are developing a drama series about a space mission set in the near future.

Multi-award-winning author Beate Langmaack and successful writer Florian Oeller are currently writing the scripts for the mini-series with six episodes of 45 minutes each. The title of the series is STARS. Producer & Executive Producer Jens Christian Susa is responsible for the joint development on behalf of Provobis Film, while Frank Tönsmann and Karin Laub are editorially responsible for WDR under the direction of Alexander Bickel - Head of the Fiction Program Division. The Astronaut:innen series is planned as a European co-production with worldwide exploitation.

Content: Six European astronauts follow their greatest dream: the flight to the moon. The road to get there is rocky: First, they have to train hard in the most exciting workplace in Europe - the EAC Astronaut Center in Cologne. They give their all, but an overpowering opponent, love and betrayal jeopardize the mission - and with it the hope of saving our Earth.
