Let The Bell Ring

In this heroes journey, the classical story of a boxer’s dream becomes a generations tale about first and last hopes, set against the backdrop of Los Angeles.

We follow boxing-prodigy MALCOLM (23) on his way to become the Golden Gloves Champion. When Malcolm almost looses his Qualification Fight, reaching his dream is suddenly not so sure anymore. His trainer JESSIE (43) - who still has to let go of his own boxing career - fears to fail his goals for a second time. He intensifies his training drastically. But Malcom is struggling, heading to a path of self destruction. It becomes clear, that talent and passion, even hard work is not enough to succeed. It’s the team around you. Nobody can make it just by themselves.

LET THE BELL RING is about a dream that possesses them all. It´s about lonely roads that cross each other, creating something out of nothing.
