Brief synopsis

In the south of Tunisa, Anne Frendo, a dreamy young girl prone to premonitions, lives alone with her father on the family plantation of Besseriani. It’s 1943, and the daily Allied advance obliges the Axis forces to retreat. While out walking one day on the deserted Besseriani beach, Anne discovers the body of a dead French soldier. Parachuted in to do reconnaisance work, the soldier had injured himself on falling and then walked until his strength gave out. Anne sets out on a voyage into the past, hoping to turn back the hands of time. Chaperoned by her archeologist aunt, Sophie Frendo, Anne arrives three days earlier in a palace on the Nile. Several officers are stationed there while they prepare their attack on Tunisia; Anne finds the soldier amongst them. She doesn’t have much time to prevent him from leaving on his mission and has only one weapon at her disposal: her powers of seduction. She’ll use them. She’s determined to use everything she’s got to reverse the situation and to stop Samuel – as she calls the stranger – from heading to his death.
