About Leo Plankensteiner
After graduating with 18 I moved to the U.S. for a year to work at the Florida Holocaust Museum as a part of the Austrian Service Abroad program. I came back to Austria in the fall of 2016 just months before the movie Seventeen came out, where I was playing Michael.
The movie had its premiere in Saarbrucken Germany where it won the Max Ophüls Price and was then later part of film festivals around the world.
Currently I am studying theatre, film and media studies at the university of Vienna and I am part of a film collective that makes short films in my home town Graz.
