Brief synopsis
Marseille, July 1905. The young Marcel Pagnol has just finished primary school. In three months, he will start secondary school. Three months... an eternity at that age. Because summer is here, with real holidays, the long ones!
As a child of the city, his long-awaited return to his beloved Aubagne hills, which feature in of "My Father's Glory" and "My Mother's Castle", fill him with joy. He rediscovers nature, the great outdoors and, above all, his friend Lili.
But his unexpected encounter with Isabelle, a poisonously charming aristocratic girl, will upset the beautiful balance of summer at an age when the age of carelessness begins to give way to that of secrets.
