I find joy in portraying characters of profound complexity, often navigating the intricate balance between different realities. I am drawn to these characters because, to me, their struggles and flaws ring true. It is my responsibility to convince the audience that I embody that person in their life, lending depth to their character. I immerse myself in caring for the character in an exploratory manner, feeling a deep connection in the most intimate moments, seamlessly blending with my surroundings. This is the essence of what I experience when I am at work.
I hold great admiration for actors who embrace risks to overcome obstacles. I personally adopt this ethos by making bold decisions to pursue my goals. Even if it means facing failure, I see it as 'entering new territory'. In those moments, it feels authentic and right to make those decisions, letting my instincts guide me—a bit like Alice persisting on the trail of the white rabbit.
True beauty and greatness emerge not from a perfect world, but from an intense and pure, non-judgmental source within, fueled by emotions such as love, despair, hate, or longing. Daring to explore and, perhaps, fail in the realm of 'real' reality is an expression of utilizing my full potential. I deeply value the lessons and insights I draw from this, both as an actor and as a human being. It's this profound connection that fuels my love for taking risks in this wonderful profession.
