In the midst of the German occupation, during the difficult and turbulent years that have indelibly sealed the life of an entire generation, the life of a bourgeois couple, Dimitris and Ntora Kalligeri, is radically changed. For Mrs. Ntora, one revelation comes after another. People who make an impression on her visit her at home. Situations alternate. She is both scared and filled with excitement and hope in equal measure. At a certain point comes the drama, to seal her existence.

The short story of the same title by Galateia Kazantzaki, "Crucial Moments", starring Tania Trypi and Akis Sakellariou, and an exceptional crew and cast, is the third great work of Greek literature to be adapted in the form of a mini-series, under the direction of Manousos Manousakis.
