Julian Rohrmoser was born into a theatrical family in Vienna in 1999, the second son of Judith Keller and Klaus Rohrmoser. He completed elementary school and academic high school (bilingual branch: German/English) in Innsbruck and did his civilian service (refugee home) in Vienna. From 2018 to 2021 he studied acting at the "filmacademy" bilingual acting school for theater and film in Vienna (diploma June 2021 with distinction). At the same time he studied economics and social sciences at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (bachelor's degree, graduation summer 2023). From autumn 2023 he will be a directing student at the Max Reinhard Seminar.
He also plays the piano very well (he has won several prizes at Prima la Musica), some cello and accordion and sang in the Wilten Boys' Choir. He was already on stage as a child and youth actor in various roles, including at the Tiroler Landestheater as Miki in "Das Fest" by Vinterberg/Rukov, directed by Michael Gampe, or as Klaus in "Furcht und Zittern" by Händl Klaus, directed by Elisabeth Gabriel . He also worked as an assistant director in several theater productions. In spring 2019 he played the leading role in the short film "Das Vis-a-Vis eines Taxifahrer" and in June/July 2021 he played the leading role of Franz Huchel in "Der Trafikant" (directed by Claus Tröger) at the Waldviertler Hoftheater . In autumn 2021 he played Hamlet in the final production of the Vienna Film Academy at the Off Theater Vienna. In February 2022 he will be shooting the role of David in the documentary "My expensive little village of Mühlen" in South Tyrol, directed by Lisa Hintner (broadcast by RAI and ORF) and in July 2022 he will be playing in the play "Der Bockerer" by Ulrich Becher and the Schloss-Spiele Kobersdorf Peter Preses (directed by Claus Tröger). In August 2022 he shot in the short film Tagada (role Paul), directed by Zoe Schmidt and in February 2023 he played Billy in the cinema film "Present of the Past - Inside a Family" by Immanuel Degn in Los Angeles and took lessons in various acting studios. In May 2023 he appeared at the Tyrolean Dramatists Festival in Brigitte Jaufenthaler's drama "Ausge Bremst", directed by Klaus Rohrmoser (role: young civil servant) and in July/August he played Alpanor and Andresel in "Der Alpenkönig" at the Kobersdorf Castle Games and the misanthrope" by Ferdinand Raimund, directed by Michael Gampe. In September he will shoot four different roles in the series "4 Minidramas "Theme, Lie and Truth" for FWU Munich 4 x 5 minutes, directed by Stefan Ludwig.
