During my apprenticeship in Cologne, from 1979 to 83, I worked for the WDR again and again and played in small pieces- at the basement-theater and at the Cologne theater. This was followed by permanent engagements and free theaters (see: Theater engagements). From autumn 1985 I was engaged at the WLB, a district- theater and beside for 5 years at the SDR in the broadcasting studios. And from 1990 to 2020 mainly with television as an actor and speaker in a fixed contract- relationship with today's SWR. Again and again I was able- but not much- to work outside of the station in other studios on the microphone, play theater or just shoot e.g. in France. I was very lucky to be able to play in French. From 1975 I previously studied Roman languages. What I like very much is to "treat" my piano and to write.
Agent Alexander Pat is with me since 2018, knowing that I at least will be "free-free" from April '20. Nevertheless, we have been able to be part of some nice productions in 2018/19 til march 20.
Also:
In 1999 I founded with friends the rock-poetry-formation "Poems on the Rocks", www.poemsontherocks.de ". I am translator, reciter and background-singer in the Band. And in the same year the project "the detective and the saxophone " started- Jazz'n'crimestories-, which I also bring often to the public together with the trio " Boogaloo" with great pleasure.. In general: projects in which language and play are combined with music count very much to my professional range. Also in the classical-scene or chanson-area.
