Education | Jacqueline Hochmuth, born in 1989 and raised in Germany, is a Cologne based Director and D.O.P focusing her work on a documentary and experimental approach of cinematography. After first steps in cinematography, she studied film and camera at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund and graduated in 2018 successfully with the documentary „Trough the desert“ (Director / Camera) shot in Israel. During her studies, Jacqueline worked as a creative producer in various film productions. After some years this hybrid film profession brought her finally to directing. Her narrative and analytic way of cinematography sheds light on important topics and different matters. Her personal and intimate style captures the momentum and essence of our postmodern culture. Her latest work spans from commercials, music videos to documentaries and everything in between. |
