Gucci - Solaris

The 90 second fashion film “Facing the Sun” is an experimental approach on our protagonist Solange’s relation to the sun. Within the film, we fully disconnect ourselves from the established fact that the earth orbits the sun and claim the opposite; The sun is orbiting around our protagonist for her and only her delight. Solange’s confidence so high, almost to a degree where she seems to be a little naive but in a manner worth imitating. The film is split in day- and nighttime, emphasising the impact of sun- and artificial light on our goofy behaving protagonist. Her gentle, whispering voice explains her personal view on the solar system.
