The foothills of the Alps combine rugged mountain landscapes with vast plains. Hardly anywhere else in Central Europe do wilderness and civilization come so close. Nature filmmaker Patrick Centurioni shows the unknown sides of the Alpine foothills in his new "Universum" documentary "Gentle Mountains, Wild Marshes".
