Gabriele Mattner

Gabriele Mattner was born in the former West Berlin, studied English literature and psychology at the PH Berlin, then film at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). She has written a number of screenplay drafts and edited several films, but has mainly worked on around 100 feature films over 40 years, mostly on film sets in over 30 countries worldwide in the directing, production and screenwriting/dramaturgy departments with internationally renowned directors and producers. She has published a series of pornographic stories under a pseudonym, written as a TV series. For around 20 years, she has also worked as a coach in the field of "Life, Love & Sexuality", as a writing therapist and, more recently, as an "Intimacy Coordinator", a profession established a few years ago in the wake of the "MeToo" movement in the field of film production.
