Brief synopsis
Friedrich Schiller's famous first work: a classic conflict of inheritance turns the brothers Karl and Franz Moor into rivals. A mighty network of intrigue paves its way. Karl breaks with his origins and begins to distrust the world. Thus he seeks new companions: From Spiegelberg - a personality as dark as he is seductive - he is lured into a band of robbers whose captain he eventually becomes. From then on, Karl - offended by his personal vanity - roams the country with his gang, vandalizing and pillaging. But then he is suddenly confronted again with his former family life...
