Fridi

Fridi has set herself an ambitious goal: She wants to become Federal Chancellor of Germany with her own election campaign. After being divested of her daughter by the Youth Welfare office she starts to believe more and more in a conspiracy of freemasons, Scientology, the Lions club and many others. She gained prominence beyond Swabia through TV appearances in shows such as ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’, ‘Boulevard Bio’, ‘Wife Swap’, and her strange YouTube videos. After having lost some elections she now wants to reach the masses by participating in over 100 elections for mayor all over Germany. The film accompanies her during one of the first elections and is a documentation of Fridis fight against a system which has left her behind long ago.
