Brief synopsis
Mara left a lot behind as she had to flee the military dictatorship in her home-country in Latin America. Twenty years later, mother and daughter are living in Berlin when an amnesty and compensation for the exiled are announced. The events and the reunion with an old acquaintance awaken fears in Mara that she has long been able to suppress. In vivid nightmares she relives the past.
