About Dirk Borchardt
After studying acting in Berlin from 1988 to 1991, he worked at various theaters.
He had his first success on the big screen in 1999 alongside Hilmar Thate in Andreas Kleinert's Wege in die Nacht.
Since then he has worked with many well-known directors.
Among others with Dominik Graf, Carl Schenkel, Oliver Hirschbiegel, Hannes Stöhr, Aelrun Goette, Stephan Wagner, Thorsten Näter, Andreas Herzog, Kilian Riedhof, Christiane Balthasar and Nicolai Rohde.
Since 2017 he can be seen in the TV series Practice with a Sea View as the lawyer Peer Kaminski.
In the ZDF series Die Jägerin, he has been playing chief inspector Jochen Montag since 2018 alongside public prosecutor Schrader, who plays Nadja Uhl.
He also worked as a stunt coordinator and fight choreographer behind the camera.
