Brief synopsis
Michel Peneud is going to die. Like you, like me, and like his mother, except that, when it comes to the mother, it's her doctor who told her so. She has hence decided to live.
And for Michel Peneud's mother, to live means feeding her cats, drinking sparkling wine as though it were champagne, and loving Michel.
But Michel sometimes feels that this love is a little burdensome. So much so that he suddenly develops symptoms very similar to his mother's.
