Further references | Hi! I'm a Film and Television actress based in Berlin and Rome. I'm often chosen to play mysterious characters, with contradictions and ambiguities. Characters that are not immediately definable, which I embody both in period pieces where I fit very well, and in films set today. From the character of Russia, the slightly modern daughter of an aristocratic and decadent noblewoman (Isabella Rossellini) that I play in the feature film 'La chimera' by Alice Rohrwacher, set in Italy in the 1980s, to Michela, a mother who is fragile but capable of making important decisions, that I play in the feature film 'Superluna' set in contemporary times, this aspect of ambiguity extends to comedy too. In my showreel you'll find a scene from the Italian comedy '10 giorni con babbo natale' in which I play Dr Fracassi, apparently a kind and nice woman, but who turns out to be instead cold and unpleasant. My career is deeply rooted in Italy where I'm assisted in my path by the SCA agency, attached to the Italian National Film School where I graduated. At the same time I am open and I'm building my work by addressing the international scene. Language skills are my strength. I play fluently in German, French, and English, I'm studying further American accent. I train consistently to improve my acting skill set. I combine my professionalism with a great passion for storytelling, always bringing on set my very best to embody the story that is proposed to me. My name is Chiara. In Italian, that means lightness and brightness. It's a true reflection of who I am. Thanks! Chiara https://www.flowcode.com/page/chiara_pazzaglia/ |
