Jemen – Die Mütter der Entführten

A documentary film about the women's emancipation movement in Yemen. The film shows the new role women have played since the Al-Houthi rebels took power. It further withdraws from the stereotypical Western notions of the Arab woman and shows an intimate and poetic snapshot of Yemen.
