Their perspectives set the bar: "We eat vegan now, while Asian countries do not care enough about environmental protection. "In our society, the sexes have long been equal, how can women of Muslim faith only wear a headscarf?"
The film "Außengeister" reflects the rejection and simultaneous fascination of people from a western upper class for "other" cultures and perspectives. In the story, the audience* accompanies a young girl who by chance lands at a charity event. Here, the visitors wear the spending pants while enjoying a rich buffet: What the donation is for seems to be of no importance to them.
The girl remains undiscovered and observes the double standards of the visitors*.
