Brief synopsis
Luisa tries to balance caring for her mother (Eva), who is in a wheelchair, with her work in a dental practice and her personal life. During a walk in the woods they discover that a great distance has already developed between them. Whereas Eva finds comfort and security in the forest, Luisa senses only danger. Misunderstandings accumulate and an overreaction causes Luisa to abandon her mother in the forest and turn back. In the end, the forest remains silent while a despairing daughter searches in vain for her mother.
