Zoe Sigalou (b. 1993 Athens - Greece) is an actress, director and playwright who uses various art-forms to explore the connection between her dreams and real life. She studied Translation and Interpreting at the Ionian University and Dramatic and Performing Arts at Arhi Drama School.
In 2022 she starred in the play Spring by Youla Boudali, at Athens and Epidaurus Festival. She was selected for the Acting Studio of Talents Sarajevo for the Sarajevo Film Festival 2022 and she participated at the Oxbelly Acting on Camera Intensive by Faliro House Productions in collaboration with the NFTS (National Film & Television School). In November 2022 and April 2023 she performed her new play "Chromosome W: An Alphabet for Womankind" at The Cockpit theatre in London during Voila!Europe Festival and at Thessaloniki Fringe in Thessaloniki. Moreover, she participated in the feature film "Brando With the Glass Eye" by Antonis Tsionis, produced by Homemade Films & Ficcino Films.
Her theatre play "Perseids or How to Party Hard", was selected by the Goethe Institute for the New Stages Southeast Program and was produced by the Onassis Foundation in during 2023 Future Now Festival. She co-wrote and performed at Call Me Sugar produced by Onassis Foundation in 2023 Future Now Festival. She starred in the short film "Mothers & Daughters" by Elke Lehrenkrauss for Eleusis 2023 and the short film "Home" by Sofia Sfyri. In 2024 she is set to star in an upcoming feature film and a few upcoming short films. Moreover in 2024 she'll be filming her new short film The Beast Who Walks Like A Man, which has received the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ΕΡΤ) award at Olympia International Film Festival and the Greek Film Centre Grant.
