From his early school years he was always cast on every play and was told that he should pursue acting.
As a kid he loved writing and is now a published poet with two award-winning collections so far.
Onoufrios loves taking chances so a few years ago he gave himself a whole three weeks to land an agent in LA, which... he actually did. Not having a visa though obviously proved problematic.
He kept pushing to improve his training which includes schools in New York (Meisner Technique in The Acting Studio), London (City Lit) and Athens, GR (Petras Acting School).
Having studied Archaeology he's an avid history buff and a licensed tour guide in Athens. He also hosts two history podcasts in Greek and English (Not another Greek history podcast).
Onoufrios has starred in short films in the UK and Greece, such as Nightgrind, or in the high-profile period drama series Kokkino Potami, where directors just loved to see him kill, rape and shout at people (pretty much as a villain).
In New York he played in the off-Broadway comedy 'A Sketch of New York' and in several plays in Athens such as comedies, ancient tragedies and contemporary drama such as Harold Pinter's 'Betrayal'. He's also been a member of an improv Playback group.
Trying out new things and experiencing what life has to offer is his thing so he's learning bouzouki (musical instrument), and usually starts activities like ballet, martial arts or parkour.
He's also known for his very good ear and love for music so he always creates and shares his music lists on Spotify.
Onoufrios is fluent in English (American), Spanish and Italian, with a good level in German, and a basic knowledge of Arabic, French, Russian and Turkish.
