Fritz Fenne

Fritz Fenne completed his acting studies at the SCHULE FÜR SCHAUSPIEL HAMBURG in 1999. During his training he worked at the SCHAUSPIELHAUS HAMBURG and filmed for various television series. This was followed by a play contract at SCHAUSPIELHAUS ZÜRICH and an engagement at BREMER THEATER. After five years in Bremen, where he played Hamlet among other roles, he moved to the THEATER ESSEN and after another five years to the SCHAUSPIELHAUS ZÜRICH. There he worked with directors such as Karin Henkel, Stefan Pucher and Kornél Mundruczó. In 2018 Fenne received a nomination as ACTOR OF THE YEAR for his performance in HUNDEHERZ directed by Alvis Hermanis. From 2019 to 2021, he was involved in several productions at LUZERNER THEATER. This introduced him to Angeliki Papoulia and Christos Passalis, with whom he made the film THE CITY AND THE CITY in 2020. In 2023 Fritz can be seen in the new music video HUNTER by the artist collective AFFENTANZ. In it, he repeatedly demonstrates his extraordinary potential for physical expression.
