A human mobile phone runs higgledy-piggledy into the thick of the buying public of downtown Kiel and gets the shock of his life. His path is crossed by good guys as well as more stupid ones, and in the end he makes a decision that finally restores his dignity. It’s all about endurance and self-esteem, and of course about Kiel.
Laconic slapstick figure and sensitive being at the same time, isolated as well as exposed by the mobile phone costume and not perceived as human being but as an object – as torn in the emotions as the protagonist, using the means of double perception, the film leads the spectator through “normal” everyday working life of absurd-comic and grotesque-tragic situations.
