Sofia (Ingrid Isensee), an out of work actor, has moved on from her marriage and into single life with her two kids. She has decided to take a “disconnection vow”, restricting her from talking to her ex-husband, using cell phones, computers, the internet and even television in order to cleanse herself. A strict vegetarian, she works from home doing voiceovers for television commercials.
Sofia’s sister Ana (Maria Siebald), decides to come back home from France with her newborn baby and her French husband, who is desperately seeking financial help in order to finish a book translation.
It all seems like a great family reunion until Sofia’s father drops a bomb, announcing he is leaving his wife Matilde (Paulina Garcia) after 35 years of marriage; sudden news that threatens to create more complications than the family was ready to confront.
