Accompanied by her friend Marie, who watches over her jealously, Zingarina throws herself headlong into her quest for love and lets herself be carried away by this country that fascinates her so. But when she encounters her ex-boyfriend at a wild pagan celebration, he brutally rejects her. Crazy with grief, she evades Marie, casts off the weight of the past, and becomes one with this new world, Transylvania, where she meets Tchangalo.
