The Attack

Dr. Amin Jaafari is an Israeli Arab completely integrated into Tel Aviv society. He's married to a woman he loves, has enjoyed a brilliant and succesful surgeon's career, and has many Jewish friends. However, after a terrorist attack in a Tel Aviv restaurant, which causes nineteen deaths, the Israeli police informs him that his wife was the suicide bomber.

Amin initially rejects this accusation, but little by little he starts having doubts. His worst fears are confirmed when he receives a posthumous letter from his wife, confirming her act.

Flabbergasted and broken by this revelation and wanting to understand how he was incapable of sensing her intentions, Amin decides to go to the Palestinian Territories to search for the person he believes recruited his wife.

Here Amin is plunged into a dangerous world where he is not welcome. Without a thought for his own safetly, Amin goes in search of the truth.
