Bulgarian actress Tanya Kostadinova gained recognition for her English-speaking supporting role as Eunike in the German Warner Bros feature "Die Geschichte der Menschheit gekürt". Fluent in English from her tenure at Met Film School and a decade in London, she made her British film debut in "The Resignation Day," directed by Adam Brashwal, opposite renowned British actor Adam Basil. TV roles in Bulgaria and intense characters, like the Psychiatrist in the short film "Coercion," and the profound psychological journey of the character grappling with bulimia in the film "Flawless," showcased her versatility with festival selections at BFI and Cannes.
Starting her journey in dance and theater in Burgas, she holds a Bachelor's in Acting for Theatre from New Bulgarian University. Trained at Met Film School Ealing Studios, she explores acting techniques and integrates sports skills like horseback riding and martial arts. Her foray into filmmaking includes co-writing and directing "It Might Be Nothing in Common," featured at the Sofia Film Festival 2023.
Driven by love for her craft, Tanya, currently pursuing a Master's in Filmmaking, aims to empower aspiring actors and foster a Balkan filmmaking community.
