Rudy (7), a devoted viking-fan, lives with his single-parent mother in a coastal fisherman’s village. Historic scrolls describe that a fierce and bloody sea-battle between the island’s Vikings and German merchants had taken place in the nearby waters of the same village where Rudy now lives. It is said the treasure of Vikings is still lying on the bottom of the sea waiting for its finder to claim it. None is keener to believe in the legend than Rudy.
One day an exact scale model of the ancient Viking’s ship joyrides nearby but unfortunately, only fathers with sons are allowed on board. Sailors tell Rudy to return next time, but where could he possibly find a father so quickly? Inspired by a beauty contest, Rudy organizes the Big Contest of Father Finding with the award being Rudy (himself), his mother (a prospective wife), and the mysterious Viking treasure.
