Piotr Trojan is an actor, director and screenwriter. When he was young, he attended music school for eight years. He studied at the Łódź Film School and graduated by winning the first prize at the Drama Schools Festival. He worked in theatres in Cracow, Łódź and Warsaw. He received the most prestigious movie awards in Poland: the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia - Leading Male Role (twice), the Eagles (the Polish Film Awards), and the Youth and Film Festival in Koszalin. He studied directing at Andrzej Wajda Master School. He directed his own film, which has won many awards, including the first prize at the Dwa Brzegi International Festival and an Honorary Mention at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. He is currently working on his new film, planned to be released next year. His films and TV series can be viewed on different streaming platforms, including Johnny on Netflix, 25 Years of Innocence: The Case of Tomek Komenda and the series Szadź on MAX as well as the series Emigracja XD on Canal Plus
