While travelling back to his fiancé in London after the night of a wild party in Paris, Richard Meyer meets Hana Schmidt, a woman with whom he attended the party. The two debate the nature of love, sex, and affection on their way from an affluent Paris suburb into the train station, where they will depart. On their short journey, the two share intimate stories and grow to question the status quo of their relative paths in life.
